Citizen's Statement for Positive Change in Government

In today’s global economy it is imperative Escambia County’s citizens have local government that delivers efficient and effective public services while working to ensure our community’s economic growth. To achieve those ends, while improving our quality of life we must review the structures, functions and operations of our various local governments, from municipal governments in Pensacola and Century to countywide bodies such as the Escambia County School Board and the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners.

The goal of Escambia All for One is unlike anything considered in Escambia County before. Our aim is to bring together the diverse elements of our community to research all alternatives–including unification, consolidation, separation, addition, removal or revision of any current governmental system or systems.

The future is for everyone. In order for everyone in Escambia County to help build that future we can ill-afford to divert our attention away from the issues at hand, the issues that will unite us as we build a better county. As we go forward, we ask ALL Escambia County citizens to put aside the destructive political divides of the past and to join us in exploring, discussing and formulating new ideas for old problems.
